Great for parents who are looking for a functional and convenient double stroller that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. Even though it is pocket-friendly, the stroller doesn’t make any sacrifices with the safety of its passengers. It is a stroller that will grow with your family.

It can be easily converted into a travel system with two infant car seats and has various seating options. The buggy is very easy to push and fold. It performs great in an urban environment – on sidewalks, asphalt, pavement and inside the mall.

But what really distinguishes this model is its sit and stand feature. Older children find it to be absolutely delightful. There are also additional features included for the parents’ convenience.

  • Stroller weight – 31.3 lbs

  • Weight limit – 80 lbs (40 lbs per seat)

  • Folded dimensions  – 24.8″ x 17.3″ x 49″

  • Handlebar height  – 41″

  • Wheels   – 8″

  • Maneuverability

The stroller is light and easy to push. Despite its size and type, it has no problems going through normal doorways, which says a lot about this stroller. The front wheels swivel, thus ensuring a smooth ride.

The suspension system on it is average, rendering it unsuitable for harsh terrain, but it will soak in any minor bumps you might come across when strolling around town. It can handle gravel, paved roads, and sandy paths.

Even though the handlebars are not adjustable, their height makes them suitable for parents of average and above average height. The handlebar is padded for comfort and is positioned at such an angle that allows the parent to push the stroller in a comfortable posture.

The soft padding is really appreciated on longer strolls. The whole thing can be steered and pushed with one hand allowing you to switch hands as they get tired. It has double brakes that are operated by foot and are flip-flop friendly.

  • Seats, and Sit and Stand Configuration

Both seats feature individual reclining mechanisms and have ample legroom. The front seat has a one hand recline, while the back seat requires both hands. The rear seat has an infinite recline, while the front one has two recline positions.

The seats are very safe as they come with five-point harnesses that are easy to adjust and use. Each harness has a convenient re-threat system and can be buckled with one hand. The harnesses are padded for extra comfort.

You can remove the back seat to expose the standing platform for your toddler to jump on and off at their convenience. The seating possibilities are numerous even without the inclusion of the infant car seats. Since the stroller is light for its category, pushing an older child and an infant at the same time ought not to be a problem.

  • Assembly

The Sit N Stand is quite easy to assemble; once you take it out of the box, it should be ready to go in less than eight minutes. The owners manual is as straightforward as they get. The whole thing snaps together easily and no tools are needed.

  • Travel System

The stroller accepts two infant car seats at the same time. This especially comes in handy if you are expecting baby twins. The infant cars seats make the stroller suitable for newborns as well.

You can use various car seat brands with this model, such as Baby Trend, Britax, Evenflo, and Graco. The seats feature strap in installation. You don’t even have to remove the canopies to attach the infant car seats.

Despite its apparent bulkiness, it folds compact and easy. The stroller features a one-hand fold mechanism that allows it to collapse almost instantaneously. It is light enough to be loaded into a car trunk without any difficulties.

Compared to other double strollers, it is compact when folded. When loaded into an average-sized trunk, it actually leaves room for other items. The handlebar might not be adjustable, but it can be pushed in for extra room.

  • Canopies

The canopies are medium-sized and offer ample protection from the sun. Each canopy has a small peekaboo window made out of mesh, and each peekaboo window has a neat hook and loop closure. The rear sunshade is stationary while the front one is removable.

  • Extras

This stroller offers conveniences that even much more expensive strollers seem to be missing. Most users greatly appreciate the parent tray that comes with two cup holders. The cup holders are suitable for water bottles, sippy cups, and baby bottles.

You will get to keep the parent tray entirely for yourself as there is a special removable and swingable tray for children. It features a small cup holder that is suitable for sippy cups and baby bottles.

Baby Trend Sit and Stand Double Stroller Review

What’s wrong with the product?

– Non-adjustable handlebar

The handlebar is 41″ from the ground and might not be comfortable for shorter parents. Most parents report being satisfied with the design and height of the handlebar but you should make sure it is suitable for you first if you are planning to make a purchase. An inadequate handlebar can ruin the whole experience.

– Inadequate storage space

Unfortunately, the storage space is too small for a tandem. The maximum weight it can hold is five pounds, rendering it unsuitable for a large diaper bag and some extra items. Depending on the seat configuration, the basket can be difficult to access.

– Non-adjustable leg-rest

The stroller does offer a lot of leg room, but the leg-rest is not adjustable and isn’t made of comfortable material.

Despite its shortcomings, the stroller has a lot to offer, especially considering its low price. The seating options alone are worth the purchase. Not to mention all of the extra features it comes with.

It is not as versatile as some other models, but if you know exactly what you are looking for in a stroller, it might be the right model for you. It is excellent for urban-dwelling families with twins, or siblings of different ages.
